Townhall Meeting will begin in Febuary

With this year being the year for the Union contract we will set up townhall meetings and i will
post the dates . We will be discussing the Union contract and any other issues we need to talk about
Benny Hunnicutt the International Representive will be present

Meeting in Greensboro

We held the meeting in Greensboro and it was a success, there was about 44 members in attendance and we feed them and talked about the contract and any other info . Thanks to the members from Greensboro, High Point , Burlington for coming . Missed everyone in Reidsville again

Meeting in Salisbury

I would like to thank all the members and potential members that showed up for the Townhall meeting 3/8/10
was a very informative meeting and was also made aware of some changes and answered there questions concerning
this contract year (2010) . 12 of the 20 showed and that showed the employees in that district cared .

Winston Salem Meeting

I would like to thank the members in the Winston Salem District for showing up at there town hall meeting
the 14 members that showed up gave support to the local and the members in that area

Meeting in Hickory

Like to thank the members in Hickory for showing up and showing that you care about your future and about this Local.
there was about 14 members there and some even showed up after a cut line was repaired . Thanks to everyone

Meeting in Charlotte

This was a large crowd of employees and even had a few to sign up at the meeting . Thanks to the 44
that where able to attend this also means that you care . A very good meeting and informative for both
sides . All dept where represented LNG , Dist Dept , Service , MDC , Mtr Shop. Missed seeing Gas Control
but with the hours they work it might have been hard . Thanks again to everyone

Meeting in Greenville SC

The Meeting in Greeenville had employees from Anderson , Greenville an Spartanburg in attendance . Was a great meeting with 43 members and 1 new sign up
very informative and i would like to again thank everyone in those areas that showed up it a testament to how you feel and how strong you want to make this local . Great Job to Locals Officers and Stewards that helped to make this meeting a sucess.

Guys in Greenville there was some concern about driving your company trucks to the townhall meeting from your district management . In the future we will need everyone to go home and come back unless you are on call that day. The concern was using company property for personal use as I was told .

There was also some concern about the qustionaire you where given and it was not union labeled but there was some concern about it being handed out during company time . Looks like your management is very anti union when in the pass this was allowed . Just be careful and if there is any kind of harrassment please document it and let your Union Steward know and Bill know also .


If anyone in any of the district feels like they are being harassed because the are in the Union BY SOMEONE IN MANAGEMENT PLEASE
DOCUMENT THE DATE TIME AND WHO IT WAS THAT SAID IT . PLEASE LET YOUR UNION STEWARDS
AND OFFICERS IN YOUR AREA KNOW SO WE CAN TAKE THE APPROIATE ACTION .
